High Low Card Calculator
Use our high low card calculator to determine the value of your cards in poker games. This tool helps you understand card rankings and make better decisions during gameplay.
What is High Low Card?
High Low Card is a poker variant where players aim to have both the highest and lowest possible card combinations. The game combines elements of traditional poker with a unique twist that requires players to consider both high and low card values.
The basic rules are similar to standard poker, but with additional considerations for low cards. Players receive five cards and must evaluate both their highest possible hand and their lowest possible hand.
In High Low Card games, the lowest possible hand is typically an Ace-low straight (A-2-3-4-5) or better, while the highest hand follows standard poker rankings.
How to Use the Calculator
Our high low card calculator makes it easy to evaluate your card combinations. Simply input your cards and the calculator will determine their value according to the High Low Card ranking system.
The calculator considers both high and low card values, providing a complete analysis of your hand. You can input up to five cards to see their combined value.
Card Value = (High Card Value × 0.6) + (Low Card Value × 0.4)
Card Ranking System
The High Low Card ranking system combines standard poker rankings with a unique low card evaluation. Here's how it works:
- High Hand: Follows standard poker rankings (Royal Flush, Straight Flush, etc.)
- Low Hand: Evaluated separately with Ace-low being the best possible low hand
- Combined Value: The calculator combines both high and low values to give a complete picture of your hand
| Hand Type | High Value | Low Value |

| Royal Flush | 100 | 0 |
| Straight Flush | 90 | 0 |
| Four of a Kind | 80 | 0 |

| High Card | 1-14 | 1-14 |
Practical Examples

Example 1: Royal Flush
If you have a Royal Flush (A-K-Q-J-10 of the same suit), the calculator will assign it a high value of 100 and a low value of 0.
Example 2: Ace-low Straight
If you have an Ace-low straight (A-2-3-4-5), the calculator will assign it a high value of 0 and a low value of 60.
Example 3: Mixed Hand
If you have a pair of Kings and an Ace-low straight, the calculator will combine these values to give you a total score.
